গাংনীতে তুচ্ছ ঘটনায় সংঘর্ষে উভয় পক্ষের আহত-৫, থানায় মামলা- গ্রেফতার-১

(ফলোআপ)মেহেরপুরের গাংনীতে তুচ্ছ ঘটনায় সংঘর্ষে উভয়পক্ষের ৫ জন আহত হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার(০৩ফেব্রুয়ারি) দুপুরের দিকে উপজেলার রায়পুর ইউনিয়নের চাঁদপুর গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। আহতরা হলেন চাঁদপুর গ্রামের রসেল মাহমুদ পতন আলীর স্ত্রী মৌসুমী খাতুন (৪০), আহম্মেদ আলীর ছেলে যথাক্রমে রাসেল মাহমুদ পতন আলী (৪৫), ও সজল হোসেন (৪৭), সজল হোসেনের ছেলে সজিব আহমেদ (২২) এবং মাজেদ আলীর ছেলে ইউসুফ আলী(৪৫)

ঘটনা সুত্রে জানা গেছে, ইউসুফ আলীর দুই স্ত্রী আঙ্গুরা ও বিউটি খাতুন। তারা তাদের পারিবারিক বিষয় নিয়ে ঝগড়া করছিলো।প্রতিবেশী মৌসুমী খাতুন তাদের ঝগড়ার না করার জন্য বললে আঙ্গুরা খাতুন মৌসুমী খাতুনের সাথে কথা-কাটাকাটি ও বাকবিতণ্ডায় জড়িয়ে পড়েন। এ সময় মৌসুমী খাতুন তার বাড়িতে চলে আসেন। এক পর্যায়ে আঙ্গুরা খাতুনের স্বামী ইউসুফ আলী মৌসুমী খাতুন এর বাড়িতে অনধিকার প্রবেশ করে তাকে পিটিয়ে জখম করলে সে অজ্ঞান হয়ে মাটিতে লুটিয়ে পড়ে। স্থানীয়রা তাকে উদ্ধার করে গাংনী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে আসেন। তার অবস্থা গুরুতর হওয়ায় কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে ভর্তি করেন।

বিকেল সাড়ে তিনটার দিকে মৌসুমী খাতুন এর স্বামী ও আত্মীয়-স্বজনরা ইউসুফ আলীর বাড়িতে মৌসুমী খাতুন কে কেন পিটিয়ে জখম করা হয়েছে তার প্রতিবাদ করতে গেলে ইউসুফ আলী ক্ষিপ্ত পূর্ব পরিকল্পিতভাবে দেশীয় অস্ত্র রামদা দিয়ে এলোপাতাড়ি কুপিয়ে সজল হোসেনের মাথার বাম পাশে ও বাম হাতে জখম করেন। তাকে ঠেকাতে গেলে রাসেল মাহমুদকে পেটের বাম পাশে কুপিয়ে জখম করে। তাকে ঠেকাতে গেলে ইউসুফ আলীর ভাই ইলিয়াস হোসেন ও স্ত্রী আঙ্গুরা খাতুন সজিব আহমেদকে লোহার রড ও দেশীয় অস্ত্র দিয়ে আঘাত করে জখম করেন। স্থানীয়রা আহতদের উদ্ধার করে গাংনী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাদেরকে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দেন। অবস্থা গুরুতর হওয়ায় আহতদের কুষ্টিয়া মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় আহত রাসেল মাহমুদের শ্যালক শহিদুল ইসলাম বাদী হয়ে গাংনী থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করেন।

গাংনী থানা পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গেছে, এ ঘটনায় মামলা দায়ের হয়েছে। যার নাম্বার-২, তারিখঃ ০৪/০২/২২। ইতোমধ্যেই মামলার প্রধান আসামি ইউসুফ আলীকে গ্রেফতার করে বিজ্ঞ আদালতে সোপর্দ করা হয়েছে। বাকি আসামিদের গ্রেপ্তারে পুলিশ মাঠে রয়েছেন।

Injured on both sides in minor incident in Gangni – 5 injured, case filed in police station – 1 arrested

Gangnirchokh(Follow-up):-Five people from both sides were injured in a minor incident at Gangni in Meherpur. The incident took place around noon on Thursday (February 3) at Chandpur village in Raipur union of the upazila. The injured were identified as Mausumi Khatun(40), wife of Russell Mahmud Patan Ali of Chandpur village, Ahmed Ali’s son Russell Mahmud Patan Ali (45), and Sajal Hossain (47), Sajib Ahmed’s son Sajib Ahmed (22) and Majed Ali’s son Yusuf Ali (45). )

According to sources, Yusuf Ali’s two wives Angura and Beauty Khatun. They were arguing over their family matters. When the neighbor Mausumi Khatun told them not to quarrel, Angura Khatun got into an argument with Mausumi Khatun. At this time Mausumi Khatun came to his house. At one stage, Angura Khatun’s husband Yusuf Ali Mausumi entered Khatun’s house unauthorisedly, beat her and injured her, knocking her unconscious. The locals rescued him and brought him to Gangni Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty admitted him as his condition was serious.

At around 3:30 pm, Mausumi Khatun’s husband and relatives went to the house of Yusuf Ali to protest why Mausumi Khatun was beaten and injured. When he tried to stop her, Russell stabbed Mahmoud in the left side of the abdomen. Yusuf Ali’s brother Ilyas Hossain and his wife Angura Khatun hit Sajib Ahmed with an iron rod and a domestic weapon while trying to stop him. When the locals rescued the injured and took them to Gangni Upazila Health Complex, the on-duty doctor gave them first aid. The injured have been shifted to Kushtia Medical College Hospital. Shahidul Islam, brother-in-law of the injured Russell Mahmud, filed a case with Gangni Police Station.

Gangni police sources said a case has been filed in this regard. Whose number-2, date: 04/02/22. The main accused in the case Yusuf Ali has already been arrested and handed over to the wise court. Police are on the ground to arrest the rest of the accused.
