মেহেরপুরে প্রতিবন্ধীদের মাঝে ট্রাই সাইকেল বিতরণ

মেহেরপুর সদর উপজেলা পরিষদের উদ্যোগে ২০১৯-২০২০ অর্থ বছরে বার্ষিক উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচি (এডিপি) এর আওতায় গৃহীত চলাচলে অক্ষম দশ প্রতিবন্ধীদের মাঝে ট্রাই সাইকেল বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।সোমবার দুপুরের সদর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা মোহাম্মদ মাসুদুল আলমের সভাপতিত্বে উপজেলা মিলনায়তনে প্রতিবন্ধীদের মাঝে ট্রাই সাইকেল বিতরণ করা হয়।এসময় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান অ্যাডভোকেট ইয়ারুল ইসলাম।এসময় তিনি বলেন, অন্যান্য কর্মসূচি তারই আদলে আমরা সামাজিক নিরাপত্তা বেষ্টনীর যে প্রতিপাদ্য আমাদের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী বিভিন্ন সময় অসচ্ছল প্রতিবন্ধী অক্ষম দের পাশে যে নির্দেশনা সেই নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী আজকে আমরা যে সকল ব্যক্তি চলাচলে অক্ষম সেই সকল ব্যক্তিদের মাঝে ট্রাই সাইকেল বিতরণ করেছি। এর আগেও আমরা বিভিন্ন অসচ্ছল পরিবারের মাঝে সেলাই মেশিন, হুইল চেয়ার বিতরণ করছি।তিনি আরও বলেন এই দশটি ট্রায় সাইকেলই শেষ নয়, আগামী তে আরও বিতরণ করা হবে।এসময় বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা পরিষদের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান মমিনুল ইসলাম.(Distribution of tricycles among the disabled in Meherpur

Under the initiative of Meherpur Sadar Upazila Parishad, tricycles have been distributed among ten disabled persons under the Annual Development Program (ADP) for the financial year 2019-2020.Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masudul Alam presided over the distribution of tricycles among the disabled at the Upazila auditorium on Monday afternoon.Chairman of the Upazila Parishad Advocate Yarul Islam was present as the chief guest.At the same time, he said, “We have distributed tricycles among the people who are unable to walk today in accordance with the guidelines that our Hon’ble Prime Minister has given to the indigent and disabled people at different times.” Even before this we have been distributing sewing machines and wheelchairs among various indigent families.He added that these ten tricycles are not the last, more will be distributed in the future.Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Mominul Islam was present as a special guest)
