বাইকার ফারহানা ‘নববধূ’ নয়, বিয়ে তিন বছর আগে, রয়েছে সন্তানও
গায়ে হলুদের দিন শহরময় বাইক র্যালি করে সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে ভাইরাল হওয়া যশোরের ফারহানা আফরোজকে গণমাধ্যমে ‘নববধূ’ হিসেবে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। তবে তিনি নববধূ নন। সম্প্রতি তিনি বিয়েও করেননি। তার বিয়ে হয়েছে আরও তিন বছর আগে। দেড় মাস আগে তার কোলজুড়ে এসেছে এক ছেলে সন্তানও।
গত ১৪ আগস্ট গায়ে হলুদের অনুষ্ঠান হওয়ায় বিভ্রান্তি সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। ফারহানা নিজেও গণমাধ্যমের কাছে বিষয়টি পরিস্কার না করায় বিভ্রান্তি বাড়ে। ১৩ আগস্টে সাজগোজ ও অনুষ্ঠানের বিষয়ে তিনি গণমাধ্যমকে বলেন, ‘আমি ঢাকাতে দেখেছি, অনেক বিয়েতে বর নিজে মোটরসাইকেল চালিয়ে বন্ধুবান্ধব নিয়ে গায়ে হলুদের অনুষ্ঠানে যান। আমি মোটরসাইকেল চালাতে পারি। আমারও ইচ্ছে হয়েছে। আমি ইচ্ছেপূরণ করেছি। বন্ধু-বান্ধব নিয়ে একটু হইচই-আনন্দ করেছি।’
ফারহানার এ বক্তব্যে অন্যদের মতো করে বিয়ে করার ইচ্ছার কথা জানানোয় তাকে ‘নববধূ’ হিসেবে গণমাধ্যমে উল্লেখ করা হয়।
কিন্তু বাস্তবে তিনি নববধূ নন। বিষয়টি নিয়ে সময় নিউজকে নিশ্চিত করেছেন ফারাহানার ঘনিষ্ঠজনরা।ফারহানার বান্ধবী নওরীন মোক্তাকি জয়া সময় নিউজকে বলেন, ‘যশোর সরকারি বালিকা বিদ্যালয় থেকে ফারহানার সাথে আমার বন্ধুত্ব। এরপর যশোর আব্দুর রাজ্জাক মিউনিসিপ্যাল কলেজে একসাথে এইচএসসির পাঠ শেষ করেছি। উচ্চশিক্ষা গ্রহণের জন্য দুজন দুই শহরের বাসিন্দা হলেও যোগাযোগ এবং বন্ধুত্ব ছিল অটুট। ফারহানা খুব ভালো মনের মানুষ, মিশুক এবং সেলফ ডিপেন্ডেডেন্ট। সবার উপকার করে। যেহেতু ও (ফারহানা) বাইক চালাতে পারে তাই শখ ছিল নিজের বিয়েতে বাইক রাইডিং করার। ও শো-আপ চায়নি। নেটিজেনরা বানোয়াট কথা বলে ওকে নিয়ে বিরূপ মন্তব্য করছে।’
জয়া আরও বলেন, ‘ওর তো তিন বছর আগে বিয়ে হয়েছে। এক বাচ্চার মা। গত ৩০ জুন ওর বাচ্চা হয়েছে-ছেলে সন্তান। বিয়ের সময় অনুষ্ঠান করতে পারেনি- কেবল কলমা হয়েছিল। তবে ধুমধাম করে বিয়ের অনুষ্ঠান করার ইচ্ছা ছিল। এতদিন পর বিয়ের অনুষ্ঠান করছে, সেখানে সে তার শখ পূরণ করেছে তাতে-অন্যদের সমস্যাটা কী?’
জয়া বলেন, ‘দেশের মানুষ রাইড শেয়ারে মেয়ে চালকদের সাথে বসতে পারে। অথচ ফারহান রাইডিংকে সহ্য করতে পারছে না। এটা সংকীর্ণতা।’
ফারহানর বন্ধু প্রোফেশনাল ফটোগ্রাফার তরু খান বলেন, ‘ফারহানা আমার কলেজ পর্যায়ের বন্ধু। সে সময় ও আমাদের সাথেও বাইক চালাতো। ও একজন ভালো বন্ধু। ওর সাথে সবকিছু শেয়ার করা যায়। ফারহানার স্বাধীনচেতা মেয়ে। তার গায়ে হলুদের অনুষ্ঠানে আমরা বন্ধুরা ১৫/২০টি মোটরসাইকেল নিয়ে শহর ঘরেছি। এতে দোষ কোথায়। লোকজন নেগিটিভ মন্তব্য করছে। খারাপ লাগছে। আমাদের প্রত্যাশা প্রত্যেকে বিষয়টি স্বাভাবিকভাবে নেবে।’
এদিকে ফারহানার প্রতিবেশী তমাল আহমেদ বলেন, ‘ফারহানার মতো মেয়েই হয় না। ভালো মেয়ে। তার বিয়ে হয়েছে অনেক আগে। পারিবারিকভাবে মেনে নেয়া নিয়ে জটিলতা ছিল। বিয়ে মেনে নেয়ার পর অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। নেটিজেনরা যা করছে তা ঠিক না। যশোরে মেয়ে তানিয়া পাইলট হিসেবে আন্তর্জাতিক ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করে। দেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী, বিরোধী দলীয় নেত্রী, স্পিকার নারী। নারীরা অনেক বিষয়ে এখন অগ্রগামী। ফারহানার ব্যাপারে এতো কনজারভেটিভ কেন বুঝি না। এটা ফারহানার ব্যক্তিস্বাধীনতায় হস্তক্ষেপ করার শামিল।’
তমাল আরো বলেন, ‘ফারহানার পরিবারটি অনেক আগে থেকেই সংস্কৃতিক মনা ও প্রগতিশীল। বাংলাদেশের অভিনয় জগতের তিন নক্ষত্র সূচন্দা, ববিতা ও চম্পা- ফারহানার চাচাতো ফুফু। ফলে সে স্বাধীনচেতা হিসেবে বড় হয়েছে।’
