গাংনীতে ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালতের অভিযানে দু’ব্যাবসায়ীর জরিমানা

মেরেপুরের গাংনী বাজারের ওষুধের দোকানসহ দুটি দোকানে অভিযান চালিয়ে ভোক্তা অধিকার আইনে জরিমানা আদায় করেছে ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত।

গাংনী বাজারের সেতু ফার্মেসী নামক একটি ওষুধের দোকান ও সেতু হার্ডওয়ার এ্যন্ড ইলেক্ট্রনিক দোকানে অভিযান চালায় ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত।

বুধবার বেলা ১১ টার দিকে ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ অধিদপ্তরের উপ-পরিচালক সজল আহম্মেদ এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন।

ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত সুত্রে জানায়, গাংনীর সেতু ফার্মেসীতে মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণ ওষুধ রাখার অপরাধে ফার্মেসীর মালিক বাবুল হাসানকে ১০ হাজার টাকা এবং পার্শ্ববর্তী সেতু হার্ডওয়ার এন্ড ইলেক্ট্রনিক্স দোকানে যত্রতত্র গ্যাস সিলিন্ডার রাখা ও গ্যাস সিলিন্ডারের মুল্য তালিকা না টাঙ্গানোর অপরাধে দোকান মালিক আব্দুস সালামকে ৪ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়।

এসময় জেলা স্যানিটারী ইন্সেপেক্টর আব্দুস সালামসহ গাংনী থানা পুলিশের একটি টিম উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Two businessmen fined in mobile court raid in Gangni

Rabbi Ahmed:A mobile court has fined two shops, including a drug store in Gangni Bazar in Merepur, under the Consumer Rights Act.

The mobile court raided a drug store called Setu Pharmacy and Setu Hardware and Electronic Store in Gangni Bazar.

Sajal Ahmed, deputy director of the Consumer Rights Protection Department, conducted the operation around 11am on Wednesday.

According to the mobile court, Babul Hasan, owner of Gangni Bridge Pharmacy, was fined Tk 10,000 for keeping expired drugs and Abdus Salam, owner of a nearby bridge hardware and electronics shop, was fined Tk 4,000 for keeping gas cylinders everywhere and not posting price list of gas cylinders.

A team of Gangni police including District Sanitary Inspector Abdus Salam was present at the time.
