গাংনীতে বাড়ীর জমির পথ কেনাকে কেন্দ্র করে প্রতিপক্ষের হামলায় আহত ১
মেহেরপুরের গাংনী উপজেলায় বাড়ীর জমির পথ কেনাকে কেন্দ্র করে দুই পক্ষের মধ্য সংঘর্ষে ১ জন আহত হয়েছেন।রোববার সকালে উপজেলা জালশুকা গ্রামে বালিয়াপাড়ায় এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
আহত ব্যক্তি হলেন, জালশুকা গ্রামের মৃত গনজের আলীর ছেলে মিকাইল হোসেন (৩৫), তাকে স্থানীয়রা উদ্ধার করে গাংনী উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্স ভর্তি করেছে।
বিরোধপূর্ণ ওই জমিতে বসবাসকারী মিকাইল হোসেনের ভাই বলেন, বাড়ীর জমির পথ কেনাকে কেন্দ্র করে আমাদের সঙ্গে একই এলাকার মৃত মনিরুদ্দিনের ছেলে আনারুলদের সাথে দীর্ঘদিনের বিরোধ চলে আসছে।
চার মাস আগে আমাকে ও আমার ভাইকে এই জমির জের ধরে মেরেছিলো। আমারা কেউ বাড়ি ছিলাম না।আমার ভাইকে একা পেয়ে গ্রামের মনিরুদ্দিনের ছেলে আনারুল ইসলাম,আশাদুল ইসলাম,মৃত মিনারুল ইসলামের ছেলে ইমরান হোসেন,হায়াত আলীর ছেলে জিনারুল ইসলাম মিনারুল ইসলাম,মালেক এর ছেলে জসিম ও মকুল আমার ভাইকে হামলা করেছে।সে বর্তমানে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছে।
গাংনী থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) ওবাইদুর রহমান বলেন, হামলার ঘটনায় কেউ অভিযোগ করেনি।অভিযোগ পেলে তদন্ত করে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।
Injured in the attack of the opponent centering on buying the path of the house land in Gangni
One person was injured in a clash between two parties over the purchase of land in Gangni upazila of Meherpur. The incident took place at Baliapara in Jalshuka village of the upazila on Sunday morning.
The injured person is Mikail Hossain, 35, son of late Gonj Ali of Jalshuka village, who was rescued by locals and admitted to Gangni Upazila Health Complex.
Mikail Hossain’s brother, who lives in the disputed land, said, “We have been having a long-running dispute with Anarul, son of the late Moniruddin of the same area, over the purchase of land for the house.”
Four months ago, my brother and I were killed over this land. None of us was home. Finding my brother alone, Anarul Islam, son of Moniruddin of the village, Ashadul Islam, Imran Hossain, son of the late Minarul Islam, Jinarul Islam Minarul Islam, son of Hayat Ali, Jasim and Makul, son of Malek attacked my brother. He is currently undergoing treatment.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gangni Police Station Obaidur Rahman said no one had lodged a complaint in the incident.
